La Biennale de la Céramique Steenwerck
Depuis 1999, nous organisons tous les deux ans un évènement céramique rassemblant une quarantaine de potiers et céramistes à Steenwerck (59). La prochaine biennale aura lieu les 4 et 5 mai 2024.

Bénédicte Vallet !
«Interrogeant la matière, Bénédicte Vallet recompose une biosphère de porcelaine où les pièces résonnent ensemble par la récurrence de certains motifs disposant de son-chants qui leur sont propres. Le tissage en chanvre des œuvres composées d'éléments naturels paraît donner vie à un organisme modulable.Ces sculptures sont pour la plupart flottantes et révèlent un bestiaire extraordinaire composé de motifs coralliens... Entre le minéral et l'aquatique, l'osseux et le corail placés aux confins de la vie entre les espèces et les éléments ces recherches sculptures sont protéiformes. Celles-ci font appel à une mémoire enfouie commune aux êtres vivants…»
